Motion Graphics

Introduction

I’m going to originate, plan and produce a motion graphics piece. I have to decide on the type of work to be produced, think about the potential audience and where I might use it.

Choices of productions:

• Title sequence for a scripted movie
• Ident for a television channel
• Showreel

Old and well made piece of work by Soul Bass, it allows us to go into depth of his work, analyse every single bit of it and use it in future projects made by individual producers of this age. The use of jazz music has set a mood for the video as well as adding the parts of human body parts as well as still objects. The chosen soundtrack does not clearly present the dark mood that would go beneficially with the death and murder themes.

This piece of work compered to 21st century's ones looks very amateur although it does have a sentimental value, it a rostrum technique of animation that has been used at this particular occasion. Soul has made few cut outs and converted it into worth watching movie intro.
